As of June 9th 2020 there is one review of less than five stars. In that three star review, the person states that they were satisfied with the work done, but what upset them was that the office called to check up on them. The reviewer likely is exaggerating the number of times they were called. Dr. Dhondt does everything he can to make you comfortable, and he will not perform if you aren't ready. That reviewer likely hasn't been to other dentists, if so they would likely agree that he is very gentle, considering that dental work isn't exactly gentle work. I'll get to my experiences in a moment, but I just wanted to debunk that review. The other 35 reviews are all five stars. Not even one four star review. That is extremely rare, and there is a reason for that. All of the reviews sound exactly like the experiences I've had. It is quite common for people to avoid going to the dentist out of fear. Fear or pain, fear of embarrassment. I had those same fears, and that's why I cannot urge you enough to have Dr. Dhondt be your dentist. Getting dental work done can be painful, but neglecting to see a dentist can be even worse. I did not take good care of my teeth in my youth. When I first sought out a dentist due to the rapidly increasing deterioration of my teeth, I was scared, nervous, anxious, embarrassed, and in excruciating pain. Dr Dhondt has a way about him that's difficult to put into words. His demeanor relaxed me, his plan of action made me optimistic, and the work he has done has alleviated my pain and has improved my quality of life. At the highest regard, I recommend Dr. Dhondt to be your dentist. You can thank me later.

Honestly, the best dentist office in the Metro Detroit area. The entire office truly cares about your well being. My entire family goes here, from my kids first ever dental appointments as toddlers, to now, them being 16 and 14. This recent experience, Dr. D'Hondt stayed after closing on New Year's Eve so my son could come in, as he had severe pain in his mouth. Dr. D'Hondt started his root canal that day, checked in on him that night and on New Year's Day, to make sure he was ok. it is truly appreciated.

I have been a patient of Dr. D for many years. He is awesome and funny. The staff is wonderful. To me they are "family". We all have a lot of fun when I come to the office. I always tell them I come to the office for a nap. Doc does great work and always makes things right. I'm thrilled with my new crown and my bite guard fits great again. I truly love them all.💕😊
